Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager

Key Account Manager role is to promote and sell Spectrum Primary Care services/products - Teleclinic, GP24 or GP locums.   The key account manager will increase service awareness, answers queries, provide advice and introduce services to new customers.  Dealing with sales and service queries from Spectrum Primary Care business customers, including

  • Practices

  • Nursing Homes

Service portfolio currently includes:

  • Tele Clinic Services

  • GP locum services

  • Out of Hours services

  • Allied Health locum services.  


Job Location: Home based role but frequent travel to our client locations in South/West Ireland will be required. Every 6-8 weeks travel to our office in Dublin will be also required.

Salary: Competitive plus bonus

Working Hours: 40 hours per week


Requirements

Who are we looking for? 

  • Educated to third level or equivalent standard.

  • Strong commercial background demonstrated by previous commercial achievement.

  • Goal orientated, independent and commercially driven.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Flexibility to adapt plans to suit business demands.

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Have a genuine focus on customer and quality.

  • Good knowledge of customer base  

  • High level of self-motivation, with the ability to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Good account management ability and customer services skills

  • Organisational skills.

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite and CRM’s

  • Full valid driver’s licence


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing excellent business relationships with all our customers is a key element of this role.

  • Always demonstrate the highest professional standards when representing Spectrum Primary Care.

  • Have intimate knowledge of territory and competitors which results in a high level of business management on territory.

  • Increase overall sales volume of services with high sales calls rates within a
    designated regional territory by attaining or exceeding established sales objectives.

  • Provide feedback to the Corporate Service Manager relating to your territory strategy, customer status and competitor activities weekly.

  • Comply with all company procedures as outlined in Spectrum Primary Care Induction Pack.

  • Ensure compliance with Spectrum Primary Care ethical, business standards & policies and at all
    times maintaining & sustaining the company’s integrity.

  • Have an excellent working knowledge of all promoted SPC services/products.

  • Implement sales strategy and plans to increase sales and market share.

  • Responsible for appropriate investment of budget expenditure which results in return on investment.

  • Collaborate & communicate positively and constructively with both internal
    & external customers.

  • Work closely with Corporate Service Manager create a customer focus list.

  • Identify and follow up on business potential and opportunities including organising
    and running meetings.

  • Contribute to the marketing activities surrounding promotional material, activities
    and programmes.

  • Ability to work to deadlines and achieve outlined objectives.

  • Update customer data base as necessary

  • Please note the successful Key Account Manager will be required to travel to client locations within the South/West of Ireland.
