 24/7 GP Services

We support our international insurance clients in providing their customers with 24/7/365 access to GP consultations, when they are on a holiday or business trip in Ireland.

These consultations can be provided:

  • Via our digital doctor service

  • In our growing number of clinics

  • In any location chosen by your customer.

Accessing this service is very straightforward.

Your customers would be provided with a dedicated phone number, where they can call our 24/7 care management team to book an appointment.

Alternatively they can fill out an online form and our 24/7 care management team will call them to book an appointment.

If after the consultation your customer requires a prescription, this can be sent digitally to the Pharmacy chosen by your customer…. it’s as simple as that.

This service is ideal for customers who require GP services when they are overseas and don’t have access to their local GP.

All of our doctors are fully qualified and IMC-registered, under the supervision of our Medical Director, ensuring insurers and their customers receive the highest quality service possible.

Digital Doctor Service

Wouldn’t it be great for your customers to be able to bring a doctor with them on holidays, offering them peace of mind in the event of illness whilst abroad.

Spectrum Primary Care’s Digital Doctor service does just that. Our Digital Doctor service enables insurers to provide their customers with 24/7/365 access to GP consultations whilst they are away on business or holidays.

Our GPs can provide your customers with the following:

  • Diagnosis of symptoms

  • Advice and information on treating symptoms, taking medication etc

  • Prescriptions (initial and repeat)


How the service works:

Booking an appointment

Your customers will be provided with a dedicated link to our online booking facility, which will enable them to book their digital doctor appointment with one of our team  of highly qualified doctors, at a time that best suits them. Your customers can also choose to either book a video or a phone consultation.

How to access the virtual consultation

Once a digital doctor consultation is booked, your customers will  receive a link via SMS or email. When they click on the link,  it will bring them straight into the virtual clinic with the GP  at the time of the appointment.

If your customer selects a phone appointment, one of our GPs will contact them at the time chosen by your customer.

Prescription Arranged As Needed

If after the consultation your customer requires a  prescription, we can then arrange for this to be sent to your customer’s pharmacy of choice via secure email.
