Our Out of Hours GP Services
One of our core services is providing you with Out of Hours support; seeing your patients on your behalf outside of your surgery hours. We provide two levels of service as follows:
Tele Out of Hours service
Our Tele Out of Hours service provides all your patients with 24/7 access to phone, video or teleclinic consultations.
Premium Out of Hours service
Our Premium Out of Hours service also provides your patients with a house call service.
To book their appointment, all your patient needs to do is call our patient management team or book their appointment online.
After every consultation with your patients, a medical record will be securely sent to you via healthmail to ensure continuity of care.
All of our doctors are fully qualified and IMC-registered, under the supervision of our Medical Director, ensuring you and your patients receive the highest quality service possible.
The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a week; ensuring your patients get the attention they need wherever or whenever required
Our Locum GP Services
Spectrum Primary Care have also been providing practices with our GP locum services for over 20 years. There are two ways we provide locum services, as follows:
Onsite Locum Service
With our on-site locum service, we will provide you with a GP who can attend your practice and treat your patients on a sessional basis.
Tele-Locum Service
Our tele-locum service is available to practices anywhere in Ireland. It uses our Tele-clinic technology to enable our GP locum to attend your patients remotely on a sessional basis.
Whether your Locum need is short term or long term, we can provide GPs for vital services whenever you require them, and at very competitive rates.
Our team of Locum Doctors, headed up by our Medical Director, are all fully qualified and IMC registered, as well as being fully insured and Garda vetted.
Our Allied Health Locum Service
Spectrum Primary Care can also provide you with access to our team of dieticians and physiotherapists on a locum basis.
Our locum dieticians and physiotherapists are available on a day rate basis and can provide services on site or via video consultation.
Our Tele-clinic Service
Our Teleclinic service is revolutionising primary care and will provide your residents with superior and safer access to a GP reducing footfall into your nursing home.
The core part of the service is our Teleclinic Cart, which is a class 2 medical device, fully certified for medical diagnosis with the highest levels of data security.
We provide you with one of our teleclinic carts on a rental basis, as well as providing your staff with on-site training on how to use the cart.
How does it work?
One of your nurses starts the consultation with your resident.
He or she conducts the examination. This may include, but is not limited to heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, height and weight, blood sugar and oxygen levels.
Through the Teleclinic Cart, your nurse then sends all of the resident’s vitals digitally to one of our teleclinic GP’s and invites them in to join the consultation via live video stream.
Our Tele-clinic GP then reviews the vitals and chats with your resident via live stream through the teleclinic Cart.
Our Tele-clinic GP may then request your nurse to conduct some additional tests, which may include the use of our high resolution digital camera, stethoscope or ECG.
Once the consultation is complete our Tele-clinic GP can then make a medical diagnosis. Should your resident require a prescription, the GP can then send it digitally direct to your nurse or alternatively directly to the nearest pharmacy.
