Digital Doctor Service

With so many people struggling to get access to GP’s, wouldn’t it be great if you could offer your employees easy access to a GP anytime from the comfort of their own home.

In addition to the obvious benefits to employees, offering Digital Doctor can:

  • Reduce absenteeism

  • Improve employee satisfaction and retention

Spectrum Primary Care’s Digital Doctor service enables employers to provide their staff with 24/7/365 access to GP consultations.

Our GPs can provide your employees with the following:

  • Diagnosis of symptoms

  • Advice and information on treating symptoms, taking medication etc

  • Prescriptions (initial and repeat)

How the service works:

Booking an appointment

Your employees will be provided with a dedicated link to our online booking facility, which will enable them to book their digital doctor appointment with one of our team  of highly qualified doctors, at a time that best suits them. Your employees can also choose to either book a video or a phone consultation.

How to access the virtual consultation

Once a digital doctor consultation is booked, your employee will  receive a link via SMS or email. When they click on the link,  it will bring them straight into the virtual clinic with the GP  at the time of the appointment.

If your employee selects a phone appointment, one of our GPs will contact them at the time chosen by your employee.

Prescription Arranged As Needed

If after the consultation your employee requires a  prescription, we can then arrange for this to be sent to your employee’s pharmacy of choice via secure email.


Flexible Pricing Options

Spectrum Primary Care provide you with a range of payment options including:

  • Employer paid option (subscription model)

  • Employer subsidised option (discounted fee per consultations)

Employer Paid Option

With this option a fee per employee is paid monthly, with no fee  payable per consultation.

Employees will then have unlimited  access to the Digital Doctor service within our service hours (7 days a week). 

Employer Subsidised Option

With this option, you would pay a fixed monthly fee. In lieu of this fee the cost per digital doctor consultation would be heavily discounted. This rate would be fixed irrespective of what time of day or week your employee availed of the service.

Onsite GP Services

Spectrum Primary Care also enables employers to provide their employees with GP consultations on-site.

How does this service work?

1. Create your schedule.

Choose what days and times you would like a GP to be based at your location

2. The service is rolled out.

Once the GP is on site, we will provide the necessary signage to direct your employees to where your on-site GP is based. Our booking solution will provide our GP with the list of attendees so the service runs seamlessly.

3. Comprehensive anonymous reporting.

We can provide you anonymised reports on booking and attendance levels if required

4. We’ll provide the branding.

Our team will create the necessary material to assist you in making your employees aware of this new service and how they can avail of it.
